Fundraising and Wreaths

The bazaar at the Bridgewood Retirement Community yesterday was very slow but we had a good time spending the day talking to the elderly residents and to each other. Sweets were the hot ticket item of the day, of course! We were able to sell a few dish cloth / towel sets (they really do make great gifts - $10 - for the co-worker, teacher, favorite barista, etc! hint hint) and Brittany and Michelle sold a few wreaths and center pieces. I really appreciate our friends taking time out of their day to show up and support us too! Thank you! You ladies rock!

Every dollar we make gets us closer to our required fundraising amounts of $2,300 each. We appreciate every penny of support!

Let me know if you want a wreath ($20), swag ($15) or centerpiece ($10)!  We have some left and would like to sell them soon! By purchasing them, you are supporting a local business (they were made in the area), supporting breast cancer research, and decorating your home for the holidays!  Please email me at walkingthemiles@yahoo.com or obviously (if you know us personally) contact one of us and let us know!

Go Pink Thunder!!
